# Prevouched

> Prevouched audits offshore software agencies against a public rubric, lists the ones that pass in a directory, issues a revocable verified badge, and — on supported engagements — puts a US-based liaison on the client's calls. Prevouched never writes code, never manages the project, and is never a party to the client–agency contract. Clients hire and pay the agency directly.

## What Prevouched is

- A vetting service, a directory, and a revocable trust badge for offshore and nearshore software agencies.
- The audit is a public five-pillar rubric: technical, past-work, references, communications, security. Each pillar is scored L0–L4 with a published "meets bar" (L2) and a composite tier floor.
- Badges are revocable and every revocation is published live at [/directory/revocations](https://prevouched.com/directory/revocations).

## What Prevouched is not

- Not a marketplace. Prevouched does not take a cut of the engagement, does not intermediate payments, and does not sign the client's contract.
- Not a delivery firm. Prevouched does not write code, run standups, or ship features.
- Not a permanent seal. Badges expire and can be revoked for cause.
